High-street store,Debenhams, has seen soaring sales of gel-boosted bikinis. The much sought-after item has been labelled as the ‘boob-job bikini’, and sales are up 80%.

According to the popular department store, 45 per cent of all A to C cup bras currently being sold are ‘enhancing’ ones.

However, no matter how effective these bras and bikinis may be, they are no replacement for the real deal. In spite of the economic situation, numbers of cosmetic breast surgery procedures across  Ireland and Great Britain are still increasing.
